Leading up to our first profit distribution I was happy to see the amount building in the Profit Account, yet felt a little strange knowing that we could transfer half of this amount on the 30th September as it was the first time we could actually draw a profit in this way. Previously, we waited for our accountant to complete our return and then found out how much profit we had made (sometimes none!)
With Profit First we had the profit there in front of us, and better still could actually take it! We were pleasantly surprised with this new system and what financial changes and improvements it was providing for us.
The new BAS/GST Account Steven set up for us gives me a lot of comfort. To see the funds sitting in that account for when our BAS is due gives me so much comfort, and stress reduction, and in conjunction with the other accounts sitting in front of me in my internet banking, provides a clear snapshot of our financial state.
We should have done this years ago!
